A local fulfilment operation for your next market
If your online brand is based in the EU, serving UK and Irish customers can add another set of packing and delivery decisions to your working week. X3PL offers a practical fulfilment arrangement: you send stock to our Belfast unit, we store it, and individual customer orders are picked, packed and posted from here. Your shop remains yours to manage, including product information, customer support and the way you present your brand.
We work with small online brands and have no minimum orders or monthly subscription. That gives you room to discuss a measured start rather than a large volume commitment. Tell us what you sell, where your customers are and how you want orders packed so we can consider whether the setup is suitable.
Plan how stock reaches Northern Ireland
The first step is an agreed setup, not an unannounced shipment. We discuss your product range, shop platform, expected storage and packing requirements before stock travels. You arrange delivery to Belfast, either from your own premises or through your supplier. Tell us the origin of the goods and any handling needs so the receiving plan matches the shipment you intend to send.
We unload, count and check incoming stock against what was expected. Discrepancies are flagged and products are placed on clearly labelled shelves. Barcodes, product variations, fragile items and unusual packaging should be discussed in advance. Think about replenishment as well as the first delivery: the fulfilment operation needs stock available when your customers place orders.
Packing that reflects your brand
Each order is picked, barcode-checked and packed in a suitable box or mailer. Standard packaging is included in the pick-and-pack price. If you want branded materials, inserts, tissue, samples or gift wrapping, we agree the preferences and additional charges before starting. Written packing instructions give the operation a clear reference when a customer order reaches us.
Shopify, TikTok Shop and Etsy connect directly to our system. Orders flow through, and tracking and stock information sync back to the connected store. If you sell through another platform, contact us to discuss the options rather than assuming a particular connection is available. We also talk through returns so the handling of returned goods is agreed from the outset.
Reaching customers across the UK and Ireland
Stock held at our Belfast unit can support orders to Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Orders are picked, packed and handed to the courier the next working day. Arrival times depend on the service and destination. Holding stock here changes where we prepare the customer parcel; it does not turn every delivery into the same journey or promise an identical delivery time.
Royal Mail, Evri and DPD options can be discussed for your parcels. Size, weight, destination and tracking needs affect the service and price. We use discounted courier rates and prepare a quote around your actual order pattern. If you also need international or EU customer delivery, discuss that separately: those options are available on request, subject to the products and destination.
Trade and customs: check before you ship
Using a Northern Ireland fulfilment location is not a guarantee of customs-free shipping, a VAT exemption or a particular trading outcome. The requirements for moving stock and making customer sales depend on your goods, business and shipment route. Check the latest HMRC guidance before arranging deliveries or opening a new market, and obtain professional advice where your circumstances require it.
The fulfilment discussion covers the handling of stock and orders, not a determination of your tax position. Your brand should establish the documentation and obligations relevant to its movements and sales. Keep those decisions alongside the transport plan and raise any product restrictions or shipment requirements before sending goods. A general statement about Belfast is not a substitute for checking the rules that apply to your business.
Clear billing and a real contact
We invoice every Monday for the previous week's orders and postage, collected automatically by Direct Debit or card. Storage is charged once a month on the first invoice of the month. All prices exclude VAT, with no monthly subscription. A quote needs your order range, average items per order, stock delivery pattern and shelf space, so you can see the practical costs before moving inventory.
Nathan is your hands-on contact for the products and packing preferences we handle. Returns can be checked, reported and put back into stock when suitable, while damaged items are set aside for your decision. Discuss a launch, delivery change or new insert before it reaches the packing bench, so the work and expectations can be agreed clearly.
Check the latest HMRC guidance for your circumstances before moving stock or beginning a new sales route.
