When every UK or Irish order leaves your US premises individually, international parcel delivery becomes part of each customer's purchase. A local fulfilment arrangement offers a different approach. Your brand ships stock to Belfast in bulk, X3PL stores it at our unit, and we pick, pack and post each individual order from here. You keep control of the shop, products and customer relationships while we take care of the physical order handling.
The aim is to support faster, more economical local delivery options than sending each parcel from America. The actual service, cost and arrival time still depend on your products and destinations. We do not promise that every parcel will be the cheapest or reach every address on the same schedule.
A small, responsive partner
X3PL is a hands-on Belfast 3PL for small online brands. There are no minimum orders and no monthly subscription, so you can discuss a sensible starting volume rather than making a large order commitment. Nathan knows the products and packing preferences involved in your fulfilment, giving you a real person to contact about an incoming shipment, a packing change or a return.
We start with the practical questions: what do you sell, how many variations are there, how much shelf space is needed and where are your customers? Fragile goods, unusual sizes and special presentation should be discussed before moving stock. The right agreement is based on what the packing bench will actually need to do.
Prepare the shipment to Belfast
Your first stock shipment follows an agreed setup. You arrange bulk transport to our Belfast unit from your premises or supplier, with the delivery details agreed before departure. Tell us how the goods are labelled and packed, and what quantities to expect. We also discuss how replenishment will work so the initial delivery is not treated as the whole stock plan.
When goods arrive, we unload, count and check them against what was expected. Discrepancies are flagged and products go onto clearly labelled shelves. If barcodes or special handling are needed, agree those details first. Transport, import requirements and documentation should be planned alongside receiving, rather than left until the shipment is already on its way.
Connect the shop and agree the packing
Shopify, TikTok Shop and Etsy connect directly to our system, with orders flowing through and tracking and stock information syncing back to your connected store. For a different platform, contact us about the options before deciding on your fulfilment arrangement. We write down the agreed packing preferences so the products are presented consistently when an order is prepared.
Each order is picked, barcode-checked and packed in a suitable standard box or mailer, included in the pick-and-pack price. Branded packaging, inserts, tissue, samples or gift wrapping can be discussed, with additional charges agreed in advance. You can also agree a returns process: we inspect returned goods, report their condition and restock suitable items, holding damaged products for your decision.
UK and Irish customer delivery
Orders are picked, packed and handed to the courier the next working day. We dispatch to customers across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Royal Mail, Evri and DPD options can be considered against your parcel sizes, weights, values and destinations. We use discounted courier rates, but the right service and cost need to be checked against the orders you expect.
Local stock means we prepare the customer order here rather than waiting for an individual parcel to travel from the US. It does not guarantee an arrival date or mean that every UK and Ireland route has identical terms. Share your expected split of destinations and tracking needs so the quote and delivery choices match the customer experience you want to offer.
Import duty, VAT and weekly billing
Import duty, VAT and customs requirements depend on your business, goods and shipment route. Holding stock in Belfast does not automatically remove them. Check the latest HMRC guidance before shipping inventory or starting sales, and seek professional advice where needed. Your brand should establish the relevant obligations and documentation as part of its market-entry plan; our fulfilment quote is not tax or customs advice.
We invoice every Monday for the previous week's orders and postage, collected automatically by Direct Debit or card. Storage is charged once a month on the first invoice of the month. All prices exclude VAT. Bring your order range, average items per order, stock deliveries and shelf-space estimate to the conversation so you can assess the ongoing handling costs alongside your bulk transport arrangements.
