One place for your stock and orders
Selling to customers in Ireland and the UK can mean balancing different destinations while still packing everything yourself. X3PL offers a hands-on fulfilment service from Belfast for small online brands based in the Republic of Ireland. Your stock is kept at our unit and we prepare individual customer orders from that agreed location. You continue to manage your shop and customer relationships; we handle the storage, picking, packing and courier handover.
You do not need a large order volume to start the conversation. There are no minimum orders and no monthly subscription. We look at your products, storage needs and usual destinations to work out whether the service fits, rather than assuming every Irish brand needs the same arrangement.
Arrange the first stock delivery
Before sending goods, we agree your product list, shop connection and packing preferences. Tell us where the stock will travel from, how it is packed and labelled, and how often you expect to replenish it. You can arrange delivery yourself or ask your supplier to send goods directly to our Belfast unit. Delivery details should be agreed before stock leaves its current location.
We receive, count and check the delivery, flag discrepancies and place products on clearly labelled shelves. If items need barcodes or special handling, tell us during setup. Planning the first delivery is also a good time to discuss fragile products, variations and any packaging you want us to use.
A consistent packing process
Orders are picked, barcode-checked and packed with care. A standard box or mailer is included in the pick-and-pack price. We write down the packing preferences agreed with you so that orders for Irish and UK customers follow the same approach. Branded packaging, inserts, tissue, samples or gift wrapping can be discussed, with any additional work and charges agreed first.
Shopify, TikTok Shop and Etsy connect directly to our system, with orders coming through and tracking and stock information syncing back to the connected shop. If you use another platform, contact us about the options before planning the move. A clear setup matters more than making assumptions about how your store will connect.
Delivery to the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain
We dispatch orders from Belfast to customers in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain. Orders are picked, packed and handed to the courier the next working day. Customer delivery times depend on the chosen courier service and destination; dispatch should not be confused with a guaranteed arrival date.
Royal Mail, Evri and DPD options can be discussed against your parcel sizes, weights and destinations. The service available and its price depend on what is being sent and where it is going. We use discounted courier rates, but we do not assume that one courier is best for every route. Give us a realistic picture of your Irish and GB orders when requesting a quote.
Check the trade and VAT details separately
A fulfilment arrangement does not determine your customs or VAT obligations. Requirements can depend on your business, the goods, where stock travels from and the sales route. Keep these questions separate from the practical agreement about storage and packing. Moving goods to Belfast and selling to customers in different markets should be considered using your own circumstances, not a general claim about warehouse location.
Check the latest guidance from HMRC and Irish Revenue before moving stock or starting a new sales route, and seek professional advice where needed. We do not promise customs-free shipping or a particular tax outcome. Discuss any shipment documentation or product restrictions before dispatch rather than assuming the fulfilment quote covers tax advice.
Weekly invoices and customer returns
We invoice every Monday for the previous week's orders and postage, collected automatically by Direct Debit or card. Storage is charged once a month on the first invoice of the month. All prices exclude VAT. Your estimate should reflect the space used, order activity, average items per order and stock deliveries, not just a single postage figure.
Returns can come to our unit for inspection and a condition report. Suitable goods go back into stock; damaged items are held for your decision. Agree the return process and any customer instructions before starting. You can contact Nathan about packing changes, incoming deliveries or returns, keeping day-to-day communication connected to the person handling your products.
Check the latest HMRC guidance and Irish Revenue guidance for your circumstances before moving stock or beginning a new sales route.
